1942年日本佔领菲律宾马尼拉纪念银章。直径35.4毫米，重18.80克。光边，带挂环。此类章是由侵菲日军在菲律宾比索银币上重新铸打而成，但究竟本拍品是在何款比索银币上铸成，我们不得而知。正面呈现一系列裂痕，应在铸打时便产生了，现裂痕已因长时间的佩戴而变得不甚明显。正反两面底板均有许多接触痕。FINE.PHILIPPINES. Japanese Occupation. Homma Medal in Silver with Loop, 1942.35.4 mm; 18.80 gms. Barac-23; Basso-150. Plain edge with loop. These medals were struck by the occupying forces over old Philippine silver Peso coins, but no sign of any undertype is discernable. The obverse with a network of cracks, probably there from the time of striking, and now softened by many years of honest wear. Numerous contact marks in the fields of both sides.
