1915 Isle of Man Prisoner of War Camp Medal. Lead. 28.6 mm. About Uncirculated.，<strong>Obv:</strong> Triskillion of three connected human legs (the symbol of the Isle of Man, a small island between Great Britain and Ireland) with inscription KNOCKALOE PEEL / ISLE OFMAN (sic). <strong>Rev:</strong> Inscription PRISONERS OF WAR CAMP / 1915 around a view of the camp. A very crude piece apparently issued in remembrance of the camp for interned German families which had been living in England before the outbreak of World War One. The camp was established on a farm near the town of Peele, eventually housing nearly 24,000 internees -- dwarfing the nearby town.，Collector envelope included.，
