India paper on card. 500 in left and right end panels. Boy with cattle and plow at center. 500 counters to left and right of central vignette. Dog with safe at bottom center. The Haxby reference does not list a $500 type for this Pottsville bank. This types existence only became known after it appeared in the 1990 ABNC sale as part of a $100-$100-$500-Post Note sheet in lot #1737. Crisp, well margined paper and sharply printed inks are displayed by this $500 that is the only known example.
