This popular variety was struck at the Philadelphia Mint as a bullion (Mint State) piece using a West Point mintmarked obverse die that was supposed to have been finished for Proof production. The <em>Guide Book</em> estimates that 10,000 of these were produced, and they enjoy strong demand among collectors of modern U.S. Mint coinage.，，
