1907-D Liberty Head Double Eagle. MS-65 (PCGS).,Breathtakingly beautiful surfaces are fully Gem in quality with a smooth, satiny, golden-orange appearance. Razor sharp in strike and uncommonly well preserved for an issue that is typically offered no finer than MS-64, this coin comes highly recommended for inclusion in an advanced type set or double eagle collection. The 1907-D is the second and final Denver Mint issue in the Liberty Head series, and it is slightly more obtainable in Mint State than the 1906-D. Somewhat more than 500,000 Uncirculated coins are believed extant but, as above, Gems are in the minority among survivors. Sure to please even the most discerning numismatist.,,
