Sharply struck, as well, this coin is sure to catch the eye of astute bidders. The Denver Mint struck 193,600 half eagles in 1910, Mint State survivors median rarities in the Indian series. Most Uncirculated examples in todays market entered numismatic circles in 1979 as part of a hoard of several hundred pieces. Those coins are easily recognized by their lackluster, moderately to heavily abraded surfaces.
