1807 Draped Bust Half Dollar. O-106, T-6. Rarity-3. VF-20 (NGC).，Steel blue hues dust the slate grey patina of this handsome example. The surfaces are original and smooth, unmarked by abrasions even under magnification. Inconsistency in the planchet appears as a dark streak across the upper right obverse, though this is as-made and not to be confused with post-mint damage. The strike is pleasant for the variety and the reverse shows a considerable sharpness for the assigned grade. Both sides show extensive cracks around the peripheries, equivalent to Tompkins Die Stage 2/3. A wholesome and attractive piece.，From the Sutton Court Collection of Early Half Dollar Varieties.
