1913 Buffalo Nickel. Type I. Proof-66 (PCGS). Gold Shield Holder.，Razor sharp in strike with a lovely satin textured finish, as made, this gorgeous specimen also exhibits pretty peripheral toning in golden-apricot iridescence. As the premier Proof in the Buffalo nickel series, the 1913 Type I was widely distributed to contemporary collectors. Most survivors are less than Gem in quality, however, as the similar appearance between these Satin Proofs and well produced circulation strikes left many contemporary buyers disenchanted with the former. An exceptionally well preserved survivor, the present example comes highly recommended for inclusion in a high quality collection.，，
