MS-61 RB (NGC).，The Close AM variety came to pass because a die intended for Proof coinage -- made with a hub intended to create Proof dies with the Close AM -- somehow ended up in the Denver Mint and used for regular circulation strikes, which were made. Furthermore, a similar error occurred on the 1992 Philadelphia cents where a Proof die ended up making circulation strikes at that mint as well. Both varieties are quite rare and highly collectible. The usual circulation strike coins exhibit the AM of AMERICA more distant, but on the Proof dies of that year, the letters virtually touch at the base.<p>Quite difficult to find in any state of preservation, the present example is attractive, with plenty of original mint red and a bold strike. Variety specialists should take a careful look.，，
