1778 (1860s) Non Dependens Status Copper. Robinson Copy. Kenney-6, W-15250. Copper. MS-65 BN (PCGS).,A close copy, produced in the 1860s, that mimics the unique and controversial Non Dependens Status token reputedly hand engraved by Paul Revere. One in a series of copies of colonial and early American types by coin dealer Alfred S. Robinson of Hartford, Connecticut. The dies were produced by George Hampden Lovett from the drawing in Crosbys <em>Early Coins of America</em>. A choice example, retaining considerable mint red.
