Extremely Fine.，Charming antique prize medal engraved JUNIOR / WHERRY / JUNE / 14-15 06 / GALVESTON on one side, and with a blue enameled SARA (San Antonio or Southern Atlantic Rowing Association?) monogram on the reverse. A pair of silver oars is attached to the engraved side of this piece. The edge is inscribed R.H. YOUNG. A Junior Wherry is a small wooden boat, usually paddled by a single rower.
