1864 Soldiers Fair at Springfield, Massachusetts Medal. White Metal. 29 mm. By J.A. Bolen. Musante GW-679, Baker-365, Musante JAB-16. MS-62 (PCGS).，Generally pleasing medium gray surfaces with a bit of tin pest noted, especially on the reverse. This piece is usually encountered holed, and Bolen notes that most of the issue of 350 were treated as such, but a few were retained without the hole. Later William Woodward contracted for five unholed restrikes, which he offered in his sales starting in 1879.
